I MAKE ART BECAUSE...
As a little kid who struggled to feel understood, I felt seen through art. Before I even knew what acting was, I was already doing it—imagining, playing, and pretending,—Now, I want to create art that does the same for others—art that is raw, truthful, and vulnerable. I want people to see their deepest secrets, desires, traumas, and insecurities reflected in the lives of others, and in that recognition, feel seen and less alone. I want to tell stories for the rest of my life—stories that help me understand the world and myself, that challenge me, that make me a better, more compassionate person, and do the same for those who experience it. I believe that at our core, we are all more alike than we are different, and art has the power to remind us how—to heal, to connect, and to help us truly understand one another.
